The Village Improvement Association, known as the VIA, is a federated women's club, It was established in 1884. We meet on the second Thursday of every month at 10:00AM and plan service projects to enhance the quality of life of those in our community.
Description
Our club is made of women of all ages. We have 5 committees; Art/Culture, Education/Libraries, Health/Wellness, Environment and Civic/Engagement. Our goal is to meet the needs of our fellow citizens in each of these areas through service projects. We love to give back to our community and we also plan lots of fun events open to all of the community. We have fundraisers to support our efforts and we also rent our building for events such as small weddings, baby showers, birthdays and anniversary parties. We are always looking for new members with a volunteer spirit that love to be around other fun women!
