Rivers House Porch Fest

Spend a summer evening on the lawn of one of Green Cove Springs’ most treasured historic homes as Taildraggers Ultralight brings the front porch to life with outstanding Acoustic Americana, Folk, and Bluegrass music.

Taildraggers Ultralight is a smaller ensemble of the acclaimed North Florida Taildraggers, a favorite throughout the region. They have performed at some of Florida’s best loved music events, including the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival, Florida Folk Festival, Will McLean Folk Festival, and many other venues such as San Sebastian Winery, Colonial Oak Music Park, Dog Rose Brewing, the Clay County Fair, and the St. Augustine Botanical Gardens.

The group features Trey Brewer on vocals, mandolin, and guitar, Jan Brewer on upright bass, Paige Bechtol on banjo, and Michael Lagasse’ on guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and vocals. Their rich harmonies, exceptional musicianship, and engaging performances make for an unforgettable evening on the porch.

Reserve your own lawn chair space for just $40 and enjoy an up close concert experience directly in front of the Rivers House. Your reservation does much more than provide a great seat. It helps fund the restoration of this historic landmark into the Rivers House Heritage & Adventure Center, a place where history, heritage, nature, education, and community will come together for generations.
